What can I expect from the tour?
Our Highland Coo Tour takes you to a local croft above Drumnadrochit, where you can enjoy breathtaking panoramic views over Loch Ness. You’ll learn about the history of an eight-generation family croft and get to pet and feed our friendly Highland cows!
How long does the tour last?
Each tour lasts approximately 45 minutes, with an added 5 minute drive to and from the croft.
Are there any restrictions for participants?
The croft is not suitable for wheelchair users or individuals with significantly restricted mobility. Additionally, dogs are not allowed due to safety regulations.
Where does the tour depart from?
All tours depart from the Loch Ness Hub in the village car park, Drumnadrochit. Please arrive at least 15 minutes before your scheduled departure time to get checked in with one our team members.
I'm running late, what should I do?
If you’re running late, please get in contact with the Loch Ness Hub and let us know. We will try to accommodate you as best as we can. Our number is 01463 832566.
What if I need to cancel?
Any cancellations made within 24 hours of departure, including same-day bookings, are not eligible for a refund. If you’d like to re-schedule to a different day/time, contact the Loch Ness Hub to check availability.
What should I wear for the tour?
As the tour visits a working croft, it’s advisable to wear appropriate footwear for potentially muddy conditions. Dressing appropriately for the weather is also recommended.
Are there any facilities on the tour?
There are no facilities up at the croft. It is recommended to use the facilities within the village carpark before departure.
When do the tours run?
The coo tours run hourly, with the first tour starting at 10:30am and the last starting at 2:30pm. All available days/times are on our website. If you don’t see any availability for the day you’re wanting, it’s already been booked up or our tours are not running that day.
