Fish Loch Ness
Fish Loch Ness is more than just a fishing experience—it’s a deep dive into the rich traditions and natural beauty of the Scottish Highlands. As a locally owned and operated business, we take pride in sharing our home waters with visitors, offering an authentic, fishing adventure. Guided by local expert ghillie and lifelong fisherman Stuart MacDonald, whose expert knowledge and passion for the Loch make for an incredible experience. Stuart will provide expert tuition, making sure every guest—whether seasoned or first-time fishers—feels confident, engaged, and inspired by their experience.
Your trip begins with a pickup from Loch Ness Hub, followed by a short drive to the departure point. After onshore tuition on fishing techniques, you’ll have the chance to decide what you’d like to fish for before boarding the boat. Safety is our priority, so you’ll receive a full safety briefing and life jackets before setting off. As you cast your line, you’ll be fishing alongside the iconic Urquhart Castle, on the iconic Loch Ness where Stuart will share local tips, expert fishing advice, and fascinating stories about the Loch. Stay warm with cosy blankets and light refreshments on board and enjoy a truly authentic Highland fishing experience. Whether you’re a seasoned angler or a first-time fisher, this trip promises an exciting and memorable day on the water.
With Loch Ness stretching 36 kilometers long and plunging to depths of 230 meters, there’s no shortage of opportunities to reel in Ferox Trout, Sea Trout, Brown Trout, and the mighty Atlantic Salmon. Step aboard Time Bandit and explore Loch Ness like never before.
